How do the Judges select The Middle East and Indian Subcontinent Awards Winners?

The Lloyd's List Awards, Middle East and Indian Subcontinent 2012 is independently judged. Once entries have been received and processed they will be distributed to the relevant judges. The judges will use the published criteria against which to score each entry. The judges will convene in September to discuss all the entries together before making the final scores and collectively deciding upon the winners.

The judging panel comprises independent, senior industry experts from around the world, chosen for their knowledge, objectivity and credibility. Judges mark entries in categories relevant to their specialist knowledge, expertise and experience, ensuring a considered, educated response to your submission.

The chair of the judging panel reserves the right to cast any deciding vote, should the need arise. The judges' decision is final and neither the organisers nor the judging panel will enter into any discussion about the results.

All companies/individuals short listed will be notified directly by Lloyd's List before the end of September. Short listed companies/individuals will also be announced in the paper and on www.lloydslist.com.
